Currently, guests who are eligible (according to CDC guidelines) to be vaccinated must be fully vaccinated with all initial doses administered at least 14 days prior to sailing. Effective April 15, 2022, this will include all guests 5 years of age and older on sailings departing the US. Celebrity Cruises will not accept any form of exemption. COVID-19 Booster Vaccine shots are not currently required to sail on Celebrity Cruises.
All vaccinated guests must present a negative COVID-19 test result taken as either an Antigen or PCR test conducted within two days of embarkation and complete a health questionnaire prior to sailing. All unvaccinated children between the ages of two and eleven years old, will be required to bring a negative PCR test result conducted within three days of embarkation. An additional COVID-19 Antigen test will be administered in the terminal before boarding and on the day before disembarkation
Travel requirements and health protocols are constantly evolving and are subject to change without notice. Guests will be informed of updates as sailing date approaches.
Proper travel documentation is the sole responsibility of the guest. Guests arriving at embarkation without proper documentation may not join the voyage and will NOT be entitled to a refund.
All passengers traveling internationally are required to have a passport. All passports must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the conclusion of your trip. It is recommended you have a minimum of three blank pages in your passport when traveling, as many countries require blank pages. Multiple-entry visas are required for some vacations. You will need to check with your consulate to verify all requirements.
You are responsible for obtaining and payment of all visas and entry documents prior to travel, and for meeting all health and other requirements and any documents required by laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of the countries to be visited. Non-U.S. citizens must consult with appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed and are responsible for obtaining all visas and entry documents independently.
Foreign nationals should contact their respective governments to obtain further details. For more information or to obtain a passport application, visit www.travel.state.gov.

On Celebrity, Formal Night is now Evening Chic. Now, on up to two nights on every cruise, Evening Chic activities have been introduced, and Evening Chic attire has replaced Formal attire. While dressier than Smart Casual, Evening Chic is intended to be less dressy than Formal attire.
Women should feel comfortable wearing:
- A cocktail dress
- Skirt, pants or designer jeans with an elegant top
Men should feel comfortable wearing:
- Pants or designer jeans with a dress shirt, button-down shirt or sweater
- Optional sport coat or blazer
Evening Chic means that you can get glamorous and be sophisticated in your own way. If you would like to still wear a tuxedo or formal gown on Evening Chic nights, you absolutely should.
All cruises that are 7 nights or longer will feature two Evening Chic nights. Any cruise 6-nights or shorter will feature one Evening Chic night. All other nights of the cruise will feature Smart Casual attire.
Smart Casual attire can be enjoyed every other night of your cruise.
Women should feel comfortable wearing:
- Skirt, pants or jeans with a casual top
Men should feel comfortable wearing:
- Pants or jeans with a short sleeve sport shirt.
Note: T-shirts, swimsuits, robes, bare feet, tank tops, baseball caps and pool wear are not allowed in the main restaurant or specialty restaurant at any time. Shorts and flip-flops are not allowed in the evening hours. The dress code will be enforced at all restaurants. And guests are asked to follow the Smart Casual or Evening Chic dress code in the Celebrity Theater for all evening performances. The daily program, delivered to your stateroom and available at the Guest Relations Desk, will be your guide to the correct attire each evening.

Yes. As with land-based hotels, guests can expect to see an initial $100 pending charge or authorization on their credit card to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases. Purchases in excess of $100 will generate additional holds. While the holds aren’t charges, they do reduce your available credit. Most holds are released by the time your cruise ends; however, some may take up to 30 days. Celebrity Cruises® doesn’t control how long the holds remain, your bank or financial institution determines the duration of these holds. If you register a card and change to another card or cash during your sailing, you may still see holds on the original card.
Begin by CLICKING HERE. The Online Check-In process for all guests in your reservation needs to be completed at least three days prior to your sail date.
Since government regulations require cruise lines to submit final departure manifests at least 60 minutes prior to sailing, this will save you time having to fill out forms at the pier.
Once you have completed the Online Check-In process, you will receive an Xpress Pass. It indicates that you successfully completed the check-in process for yourself and those guests listed on your Xpress Pass.
