DOCUMENTATION:
Proper travel documentation is the sole responsibility of the cruise attendee. Attendees arriving at embarkation without proper documentation may not join the voyage and will NOT be entitled to a refund.
U.S. citizens taking “closed-loop” cruises are required to have a passport OR proof of citizenship such as an original government-issued birth certificate or original Naturalization Certificate AND a government-issued photo ID (i.e. driver’s license).
Minors under the age of 16 will be able to present either an original government-issued, original or certified copy of his or her birth certificate; a Consular Report of Birth Abroad Issued by DOA; or Certificate of Naturalization issued by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
We strongly recommend all guests travel with a passport (valid for at least six months beyond completion of travel). Having a passport will enable guests to fly from the U.S. to a foreign port in the event they miss their scheduled embarkation or to fly back to the U.S. if they need to disembark the ship mid-cruise due to an emergency.
Attendees are responsible for obtaining and payment of all visas and entry documents prior to travel, and for meeting all health and other requirements and any documents required by laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of the countries to be visited. Non-U.S. citizens must consult with appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed and are responsible for obtaining all visas and entry documents independently.
Foreign nationals should contact their respective governments to obtain further details. For more information or to obtain a passport application, visit http://travel.state.gov.
